Lovely Lady Crochet Lumps

Sculptural crochetWhenever I see this brilliant piece of scuplture crochet I can’t help but think of that Black-Eyed Peas song “My Humps”. If you’re not already familiar with the song, check it out on You Tube (below) and you’ll see what I mean.

Just a week ago I sent Margaret, our Stitched-Up crochet expert, a link to a post by Julie on the Stitchify blog about sculptural crochet. I was very impressed by Julie’s work and knew that if anyone would be able to do it too it would be our Margaret - and she did. How great is this? I think this crochet lady should be our new Stitched-Up mascot!

Here’s the Black Eyed Peas video too… Enjoy….

Wow! Awesome! This is the first time that I have seen anyone use my pattern - I’m excited that it worked out, and I love the fact that it was used to be part of something bigger. Nicely done, Margaret! And thank you Vickie for the kind words!

Vicky thanks for putting the picture in for me.

I have been told I must now make a bikini for my crochet sculpture!

Glad you like it Julie, I think Margaret has done a great job.

Margaret - maybe you could use the crochet bunting you made for a bikini?!

That is one hot piece of crochet. I am in awe of your crochet skills - one day I want to be like you!
What do people think to a day trip out as Stitched up and take her with us, kind of like a mascot…. Or do I need to get a life?
